50 Cent and headphone company Sleek were both involved a lawsuit earlier this year. In the case, 50 claimed that Sleek owed him $260,000, but the company denied it. Once the denial was formalized, the two parties went to arbitration, however, the arbitrator sided with Sleek. Despite the decision, 50 plans to take the case to federal court for an appeal and is also crying foul. Hit the jump for more info.
Claiming that the arbitration judge discriminated against him because he’s black, associates with controversial African-American figures AND because he’s a high profile rap artist, 50 plans to have the outcome reversed.
According to TMZ, “50 says the bias ran so deep the judge didn’t allow him to cross-examine witnesses and refused to look at evidence pertaining to the case.”
