A Southern California former special education teacher is currently being charged with sex crimes involving 5 students, but you wouldn’t believe where all of this is taking place! hit the jump for more detail!
31 year old, Summer Michelle Hansen, was arrested earlier this summer, and is currently being charged with:
“16 felony counts, including unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, unlawful oral copulation with a minor, and sending harmful matter to a minor. If convicted, she could face up to 13 years in state prison”.
What makes this story interesting is where the former teacher decided to enact her sexual escapades with the minors during 2012-2013. Just guess! Well right there at the comfort of:
“… her classroom, in a utility room at the school, in her vehicle while parked near one victim’s home, and at another victim’s home,” reported the Riverside District Attorney’s Office.
One of the teacher’s alleged victims’ stated to the Corona Police that the teacher had sent inappropriate text messages “suggesting sexual content”. Why would the teacher suggest such a thing? Well allegedly the “sexual content” would serve as a prize if the student “did well during a baseball game”.
The victim and former student that came forward and caused for the initial investigation of the former teacher stated that :
” while he was 18 and after he graduated, Hansen would send him sexual text messages and cellphone photos that showed her in her underwear. The former student also said two underage boys told him that they had had sex with Hansen,” according to Press-Enterprise.
Hansen was arrested in June, the trial for her indictment will take place this upcoming Thursday. Shame on the former teacher for trying to hand out more than grades!
