There have been a lot of responses to Kendrick’s verse on “Control”, and there haven’t been anybody from T.D.E. to say anything about them, until last night that is. Q aka Schoolboy Q tweeted what he thought about the bevy of responses, hit the jump to see what was said, and who responded to his response.
This week has been really interesting week in Hip Hop, set the world on fire, although Kendrick’s verse was really cleaver, and well put together, a lot of east coast(specifically NYC) rappers took offense, and rightfully so. Kendrick, as you know, stated he was the ‘King of NY'(Even If it was an old Kurupt line), and since Hip Hop is SO territorial, and NY is the origin of the culture, NY based rappers have a certain pride. But there was only so many responses before T.D.E. has to say something.

Q seems to be the next up out of the camp to pop, so his word holds some weight. Interesting he didn’t weigh in until Pap put out his response, since it was the harshest.
