Tebow time?! Everyone just CHILL!!! Tom Brady has left practice due to an apparent knee injury. We don’t know how bad it is just yet. Brady stayed down after incomplete pass & was holding his left knee (the same knee that ended his 2008 season (torn ACL)). Hopefully, Brady is ok — my team or not, I never like to see a player injured. ps. Yes, it’s Tim Tebow’s birthday today — let the jokes roll
Report after the jump…
Via PFT:
Every heart in New England just skipped a beat.
According to multiple reports, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady just felt something in his left knee in practice, and then left the field after consulting with coach Bill Belichick.
During their joint practice with the Buccaneers, Brady grabbed his left knee, limped off, but then rejoined practice a play later. But that didn’t last long, and he ended up heading out again with a trainer.
Stay tuned for updates…

UPDATE via ESPN:
An MRI on Brady’s knee was negative and he is considered day to day, a source with knowledge of the injury told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Patriots president Jonathan Kraft was not at the practice but heard what happened to Brady. In an interview with Boston sports radio station 98.5 The Sports Hub, Kraft said he made a phone call to check on Brady’s status and was told that it “hopefully did not appear to be that bad.”
“I understand from people who were standing out here it may have looked serious,” Kraft said. “I don’t have a definitive answer. And in classic [coach] Bill Belichick fashion I will tell you a little bit more though and just say I don’t believe it’s serious, but I do not know.”
