Queen Latifah’s talk show is set to air next month, and the actress/musician has reported that she will be leaving some of her personal life out of it. Latifah reported that she is not prepared to talk about her sexuality on the talk show. The long-lasting rumors of Latifah being a Lesbian, will remain just that, rumors.
Rumors have stirred back several years yet the most recent event adding to the rumors, occurred when Latifah performed at a LGBT pride event in Long Beach, California in 2012 and addressed the audience as “my people”. This caused for many to believe that she was insinuating that she was a part of the community due to her addressing the audience in such way.
“But she quickly shot down those reports in a subsequent interview with Entertainment Weekly. “I’ve never dealt with the question of my personal life in public,” she said at the time. “It’s just not gonna happen.”
