The Department of Transportation has given everyone in the Chicago area a courtesy warning, of the new speed cameras being installed in four Chicago parks as early as next week.
“drivers will get a 30-day grace period before the speeding tickets begin showing up in the mail, city officials announced Friday.
Garfield Park, Gompers Park, Washington Park and Marquette Park, are amongst those parks added to be receiving speed cameras within their area. The cameras will be installed by the end of August and there are presumed to be eight more camera systems added throughout the city by the end of September.
