Gun

Is this father forreal? Unfortunately, the answer is yes. 31-year-old Adam Keene of Maine put a loaded semi-automatic .380 caliber pistol in his 4-year-old son’s backpack before dropping him off at day care. This unfit father pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor reckless conduct charges claiming that he “didn’t intend” to put the loaded rifle in his son’s bag. I understand accidentally packing the wrong type of Lunchables or something, but a loaded gun?! WTF?!

Kennebec County District Attorney Maeghan Maloney says, “If I thought that he’d intended to have the gun go to day care, this would be a very different case. But I’m optimistic we’ll be able to come to some common ground.”

According to reports, the safety on the gun was activated but it was still loaded up with a full round.

The owners of the day care said that at first then believed the gun was fake, but when they took a closer look it was apparent that it was “very real” and posed a serious threat to the facility. Parents of the children who attend the day care are out-raged and nervous, as any normal parent should be.

But on a serious note, how do you pack your kid’s backpack with a fully loaded gun? What happened to a nice lunch in a brown paper bag? An apple? A nice little note? SMH!
