The great talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, earns more than $76 million a year, according to Forbes magazine. Then, why, did a shop associate in Switzerland refuse to show her a handbag claiming that it was “too expensive” for her? The only answer is racism and the Swiss tourism office took matters into their own and issued an apology to the associated press and on twitter. The apology said that the tourism office is very sorry for what had happened to her and that the person acted terribly wrong. Winfrey was in Switzerland to attend Tina Turner’s, a friend, wedding.
