Kate Upton became a huge star after posing for the cover of Sports Illustrated back in 2012. She was already known, but that cover shot her to fame in a way like never before. Now she is saying she “hated” herself for about a month after doing that cover shoot. Keep in mind, like I said, it was this shoot that greatly helped make her who she is today. Upton was speaking recently with a fashion magazine when she spoke about the cover shoot:
After my first Sports Illustrated cover, I felt terrible about myself for a solid month. Every single guy I met was either married or about to be married, and I felt like I was their bachelor present or something. I’m not a toy, I’m a human. I’m not here to be used. I am a grown woman, and you need to figure your shit out.”
Does she have the right to feel like that? After making tons of money as a result from that shoot? She is not dumb, she knew when she did that shoot men would be gawking at her, and she did it anyway. Sounds like a little slap in the face to sports Illustrated, but that’s just me.
