Hopefully, by now, you’ve heard about the 14-year-old that was recently gunned down by police officers in the Bronx. Well, now his mother has spoken out about her son. In addition to her statement, video has also surfaced showing the moments before he was killed. The video is pretty shocking to say the least. It definitely put the officer’s shooting into perspective. Check it out after the jump.
After news of his death, sources told Daily News that the young teen was a gang member. It’s also known that the child was arrested for attempted murder in May of this year. In light of these discoveries, his mother, Shanice Farrar, has decided to speak out. At a public memorial for her son, 14-year-old Shaaliver Douse, she said “I’m not saying he’s the best, but he’s my angel.”
Based on the footage preceding his death, NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly concluded that the shooting was justified.
