Via NYPost:
Jets running back Joe McKnight was arrested in New Jersey last week after police discovered two outstanding warrants when he was stopped for speeding and changing lanes without signaling.
The arrest occurred on July 30, when the players had a day off from training camp. McKnight was pulled over shortly after 11 a.m. in Hanover Township, near the Jets training center, after he passed a police officer on the right at a high speed and then changed lanes without signaling in his 2010 Mercedes Benz, according to Capt. Shawn Waldron.
Patrolman David Littman checked the license plate and discovered an outstanding warrant for blowing off a $200 fine for failing to produce and insurance card in the town of Summit. He saw a second warrant for nonpayment of a $120 fine from a ticket for failing to observe a traffic signal in Springfield.
McKnight was handcuffed and brought to the police station where he posted bail, which was the $320 the outstanding warrants were for. He was released with a summons for an unsafe lane change and uninsured motor vehicle.
