Pusha T was quoted recently and he stated his new album, My Name Is My Name, will be the best album of 2013. His album was set to be released on July 16th, but it got pushed back. The album should be dropping within the next few weeks. Hit the jump to see what he said.
Pusha T had this to say about his claim for 2013’s best album, “Well, I’ve heard a lot of them. And mine is better. I just know what I’m looking to bring to the music game, and it’s a certain level of energy. I’ve made the perfect album that I want to put in my car and ride to. My album is the best album of the year. I think the streets are going to have a classic hip-hop album.”
Maybe he’s saying it will be the best album of the year just so he can sell more copies because I don’t see how Pusha T will top J. Cole’s “Born Sinner” or Wale’s ‘The Gifted.” But that’s just my thoughts. Let us know what you think.
