Other than his exclusive features it is safe to say that Andre 3000 has been on a hiatus for a while. He hops on a track, drops a couple of gems then disappears as of late. I mean he could be busy dipping into his acting talents, and placing all of his energy into perfecting the role of Jimi Hendrix in the upcoming biopic. But could it be that in light of all the creativity and diversity surrounding air waves lately, 3 stacks feels that finally its his time to return to what he does best?
The rumors were building already when music producer Mike Will Made It posted a short video on Instagram of himself and Andre 3000 in the studio with the caption “I’m sorry Ms. Jackson…. 3staxx voice. #StayTuned.”
Now BET’s own, Stephen G Hill tweeted about his experience running into Andre 3000 backstage at the America’s Most Wanted Tour in DC. Hill stated in the tweet, that he and Andre 3000 spoke backstage and he reveals that his movie is not the only thing he’s been working on, adding ” … and I got a solo album coming top of the year”.
Could it be above the new beginnings and hangovers, the new year may also be bringing us new Andre 3 Stacks as well?!? I sure hope so!
