New court records released today are pointing to the home of Aaron Hernandez as the place where the gun used to kill Odin Lloyd was stashed. The only issue with that is his home was searched numerous times and no gun was found. Is it possible the Police missed something? Hit the jump for more details.

An associate of Aaron Hernandez told police the former New England Patriot put guns in a box in his basement after returning from the industrial park where his friend was fatally shot. An affidavit released by Attleboro District Court says Carlos Ortiz told investigators Hernandez put firearms in the black box after Odin Lloyd’s killing. The document indicates one was a small gun Ortiz handed Hernandez after they returned home. Ortiz said he earlier saw Hernandez with an additional “large handgun.”
Remember, Oritz was with Hernandez the night of the murder, so for him to say that carries alot of weight. But all this week, Police in Bristol, CT, were searching a pond after getting a tip the murder weapon may of been thrown in there sometime after the shooting. Bristol is the hometown of Hernandez and Ortiz. After 5 days of searching they still have not found anything. Maybe it is time to check his house again.
