“I want my side of the story to be shared,” is what Chi-town rapper, Marvo said when asked about his lawsuit against Ludacris. A few weeks ago, news let out that Marvo was suing the, “Last of a Dying Breed” MC for his rights to the single, “Sex Room.” Marvo claims that he wrote the hook to the song, and a producer ‘friend’ [Kajun] of his took the song to Ludacris, and they made a hit of it. Marvo did not get the credit that was due to him, and now, he’s speaking out! Hit the jump to see what he had to say.

“I am not looking to prove to you what I did. I’m telling you what I did, and somebody’s being dishonest,” Marvo states. “I don’t condone anyone to get out here and say Luda is a snake, because I don’t personally know Ludacris. I have never met Ludacris in my life. It just happens that I was in communication with people around Luda, so it’s not impossible for him to hear a record composed by myself. However, the person letting him hear that record might not be telling him there’s a kid in Chicago who actually wrote the hook to this record and we gotta take care of him,” he adds.
The Chicago, “Emcee” claims that words of a lawsuit was going around in 2009 – way before the song even came out. He never made it a national case, because he never wanted any one to think that he was using Luda’s name as his claim to fame. Besides that, Marvo’s mother had passed away, which is why his mind slipped from the situation.
For some reason, I’m sure that this will get settled properly. It doesn’t have to get out of hand.
