Looks like the police may have gotten some type of tip?! They are searching a pond in the hometown of ex-Patriots player Aaron Hernandez — possibly looking for the murder weapon.

Connecticut state police divers are searching a pond in the hometown of Aaron Hernandez, the former New England Patriots player who is charged with murder.
Connecticut police declined to comment on the nature of Monday’s search of a pond at Pine Lake Park in Bristol. They’re referring calls to Massachusetts prosecutors. A message left there seeking comment wasn’t immediately returned.
WFSB-TV in Hartford, however, reported that the search is tied to the weapon that is being sought in the murder investigation.
