The National Taiwan University Team recently created a tooth sensor that detects if you’re smoking or stuffing your face and can even tell your doctor about it!
The device’s accelerometers helps distinguish between smoking, speaking, chewing, and coughing 94% of the time. It can’t quite yet tell whether what your eating is healthy or not. The team wants to shrink the already tiny sensor so it can fit inside crowns or cavities. If you do end up getting these you better be on your best eating behavior for your dentist can see everything you’ve been eating, LITERALLY !
