Big Papi definitely flew off the handle after striking out. Former pitcher David Cone, who threw a no-hitter for the Yankees seemed to agree with Ortiz venting his frustration , except for what he did once he got in the dugout. Cone, who seemed a little excited when talking about it, let a curse slip out before catching himself on air. He was calling the game with host Michael Kay when he said, “there’s a way to snap, Michael, I have no problem with Ortiz getting thrown out of the game, I have no problem with anything, but when you start smashing up the bullpen phone and shrapnel’s fuckin’ flying around people’s eyes, that’s completely irresponsible.” Wonder what the network will have to say.
