Two were found dead in a Corth Carolina Creek. How did they die? Read more after jump
The heavy rain that North Carolina has been experiencing, has only been increasing the levels of water in the creeks surrounding the area. The two victims from Charlotte raised families, had decided to take a swim the night that they drowned. They began swimming in one of the “usually calm pool” sections of the creek when they were swiftly taken away by fast currents. The 10 year old girls body was found on Saturday amongst kayakers, 3 miles away from where she was originally swimming. On sunday the body of the 48 year old man had been recovered. Residents within the area say that the creek has waters two feet above normal level due to the mass amounts of rain fall. The heavy rain has caused damages to 130 homes and other buildings and roads. A foot of rain was received saturday which is blamed on the areas “slow moving” rain system. All of these issues nay confirms that Mother Nature can be a B* sometimes.
