Home Improvement star, Tim Allen, has been known for being extremely blunt, I guess he’s just following through with his most recent comments. The comedian claims to have more of an issue with the phrase “N-Word”, rather than what the term represents.
His argument is that: “he thinks the criticism that keeps non-black comedians from using the actual N-word is a step backward from the days when Richard Pryor and Lenny Bruce purposefully used such language.”
His comments came about after Paula Dean had been scrutinized for her racial slurs.His comments were not taken lightly on social networks and his lawyer sated that: “Allen says it wasn’t his intention to offend anyone”
Doesn’t it seem like every major apology starts with, ” It wasn’t my attention to offend anyone”, think before you speak should be the moral of the story.
