The line of people upset with Ryan Braun just continues to get longer and longer. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is a longtime friend and business partner of Braun. The two co-own a restaurant in Milwaukee. Last year Rodgers was one of Braun’s biggest supporters when he had a failed drug test overturned, but as we all know now, Braun just got lucky with that test. Ryan Braun lied to everyone, even his good friend Rodgers. He said he was simply “backing up a friend”, when he tweeted last year that he would bet his salary that Braun was clean. He said Braun “looked at me in the eye on multiple occasions and repeatedly denied the allegations, said they weren’t true. Obviously, in hindsight, a more measured approach next time would obviously be a better course of action. People make mistakes. I definitely believe in forgiveness and moving forward. Obviously, he has a tough task in front of him moving forward with his career, on and off the field”. This situation is especially tough because they are in business together. Now Rodgers knows he can’t trust his partner which I am sure will make things difficult.
