Philly. Back at it again. This time, police are on the lookout for three thieves that made off with a Lamborghini and Bentley. As you can see, this was no ordinary robbery, but well thought out –right out of a movie. Hit the jump for the story.
The Lamborghini stolen was no ordinary Lamborghini. As a matter of fact, is there a such thing as an “ordinary” Lamborghini? This one was particularly special, it’s bright yellow with Batman tags. As for the Bentley, it’s as ordinary as any other $220,000 car.
According to My Fox Philly, “police say someone entered the owner’s apartment, stole two flat screen TVs, $1,500 in cash, a computer and the keys to those sweet rides. They were gone in a matter of minutes.”
Later in the day, the cars were found not too far from the scene of the crime –The Charter Court Apartments– in the city’s East Falls section. One resident stated in jest, “”I’m really happy that they didn’t take our mini van after they parked the Lamborghini.”
Ha!
