A glitch in the Citi Bike’s system exposed person information, including credit card numbers of more than 1,000 of their users. What’s more of a big deal is the fact that this happened back in mid-April and customers weren’t notified until July 18.
Apparently there was an error log containing personal information of 1,174 Citi Bike customers who signed up for the $95 monthly accounts. These users information were briefly visible on the Citi Bike website on April 15 and wasn’t fixed until the end of May.
