A New York City jury has decided that a man convicted of killing two police officers should get the death penalty. The jury reached its verdict after 3 hours and 45 minutes of deliberations on Wednesday. The panel consisted of seven men and five women. They began deliberating shortly before noon after a lengthy charge on the federal death penalty law by Judge Nicholas Garaufis. Prosecutors fought about it and they claimed Wilson was a cold-blooded killer who deserved death. We’ll have more news as it comes in.
