There already seemed to be some kind of drama with Iman Shumpert & the Knicks after a video leaked of Stephen A. Smith saying that Knicks’ owner James Dolan wanted to trade Shumpert. Then yesterday reports surfaced that Iman Shumpert isn’t happy with the Knicks’ offseason moves. Are those reports true?! Shumpert had something to say about it.
Check out report and his reaction after the jump…
Via SlamOnline:
The Knicks haven’t exactly had the best summer—their biggest free-agent signing was Metta World Peace, and they spent about $18 million to bring back JR Smith, who had knee surgery immediately following the inking of his deal.
And here’s another negative piece of news: up-and-coming guard Iman Shumpert is reportedly unhappy with the franchise’s direction, according to the Daily News:
“I guess the only question is if Metta expires before Shumpert, one of the few Knicks who has value. Dolan is reportedly upset that Shumpert wasn’t interested in working with the summer league team and wants to trade him. Shumpert, I’ve heard, isn’t too crazy about the moves the Knicks have made, which could further stunt his development.”
