Chris Brown and Drake were both facing a hefty lawsuit stemming from their now-infamous brawl at NYC club W.i.P. over a year ago, but both singers have been cleared of owing anything at all.
Entertainment Enterprises, the company behind Greenhouse nightclub (of which W.i.P. is attached to) had sued Drake and Chris for $16 million, saying their reputation took a hit from their fight. However, the judge sitting on the case said the boys had no duty to the club to behave, especially because the fight wasn’t even at Greenhouse. He added that while nightclub brawls are unfortunate, they’re not uncommon, and they can’t sue every time one happens. The suit has been completely tossed out.
