French Researchers did a study where they served 43 men beer or water, then released Mosquitoes on them. They found that the mosquitoes were more attracted to the men who had drunk beer rather than the water! The French Researchers then came to the hypothesis that the mosquitoes knew that men who drank the beer were slower to react to the mosquitoes (plus it helps the beer has a ton of sugar in it, which mosquitoes love!) The researchers also came to the conclusion that beer should have the same effect on mosquitoes as any other alcoholic drink. So before you take that cold one outside, first spray on that bug repellent!
