Steven Goff, 41, would have been 18-years-old at the time he killed Fredrick Hart 23 years ago. Fredrick Hart was 15, and he was left to die by Steven Goff. Fredrick Hart’s body was found behind their homes in Galloway Township in May 1990.
Steven Goff of Ventnor, NJ turned himself at a police station in April to confess his crime. Goff was charged with aggravated manslaughter, and he will be serving 30 years in prison. He will be serving half of his sentence before he will eligible for parole.
Steven Goff could no longer live with the guilt, and told the victim’s family, “I wanted to give you your justice, You deserve to see me suffer.”
