I think most of us know that inside Michael Vick has always been a good guy. I do not believe the dog fighting situation he was a part of was a reflection of who he really is, and I am an animal lover. I just think he used poor judgement and was trying to help friends make money. Since he has been home from prison he has been a model citizen and very honest about mistakes he made so he can try and make sure his words hit home with younger people. If you ask Vick himself, he thinks Jail might actually be the reason for all of that. Hit the jump.

When you lose your freedom for an extended period of time, it can start to give you a different reflection about what is important. Vick is a walking example of that. When asked about how his life is now he was quoted,
“Sometimes it takes this, for a person to go through certain hardships,to realize what their purpose really is,. I think God placed it on my heart when I was incarcerated to come out and be the best person I can be and to help as many people as I can help.”
Some people might never give Vick a chance again, but he is proving he learned from bad decisions and has become much more of a role model.
