Since DeSean Jackson fired agent Drew Rosenhaus last month, rumors went crazy with the possibility of DeSean becoming the next member of Roc Nation and signing with Jay Z as his agent. They have been flirting heavily back and forth and since DeSean also thinks he should be rapping, the thought of these two getting together seemed to make sense. But DeSean has decided to sign with someone more familiar to the sports agent business instead. Hit the jump for more.

To be clear, we do not know for sure if Jay Z even actually ever offered to represent him. However the two sides weren’t talking for over a month for no reason either. Jackson instead signed with Joel Segal, who also happens to represent Eagles quarterback Michael Vick. Segal is a very well know agent, and it will not be long before it is time for more negotiations between him and the Eagles. As far as the rapping part, maybe he can still work with Jay on that, but DeSean might want to focus more on his actual career instead of his fantasy one.
