Teen Mom star Amber Portwood has been behind bars since last year after issues with violence and drugs, but she’s apparently doing well and even expects to be released early from her 5-year sentence. Right now, it could be as early as this October. Her motivation, of course, being her daughter Leah.
“I did my TABE testing for my GED placement and I did really well. I scored in the advance book so I was very excited. So now I’m in GED classes on weekdays,” Amber revealed in a new interview.
“I got my scores back and I had college level scores in English. And I got a perfect 12.9 in social studies and science. I have 11 months of GED every Saturday here in CLIFF really paid off.” (CLIFF is the drug program offered in jail.)
Hopefully she gets on the right track for real this time!
