Tumblr has issued a “very important” security update for iOS users of the popular blogging platform. This update was issued to address a security exploit that apparently allowed users’ passwords to be “sniffed” and compromised.
In a blog post Tuesday, Tumblr staff advised iOS users to change their passwords. Tumblr staff also advised users to follow basic security measures and use different passwords for different services around the web.
