The Stand Your Ground laws are still controversial, and there have been petitions to have them repealed. This celebrity is going a step further by making the following statement at a performance in Quebec: “I’ve decided today that until the ‘Stand Your Ground’ law is abolished in Florida, I will never perform there again! Wherever I find that law exists I will not perform in that state or that part of the world.” That could prove to be tough because over 22 states have Stand Your Ground laws.
