Apple is being accused of working with five publishers to boost e-book prices. They said this conspiracy was put into play to undercut the sale of Amazon’s e-book market. A federal judge ruled that Apple conspired to raise retail prices of these e-books in violation of the antitrust law and is being called for a trial on damages. Apple went on trial while other publishers involved settled with the U.S. government. Apple so far has not been available for comment.
