Today, Twitter announced that they are improving the way DMs sync across all platforms. When users read their Direct Messages on their Android phone or iPhone, it will be marked as read on all your devices. This includes computer and tablet devices will also be marked as read. The syncing will roll out today gradually. You will have to download the latest version of twitter app in order for the DMs to sync correctly.
