During a recent Q & A with Iwata he revealed to investors that the Vitality Sensor idea is basically dead. The sensor did not work as expected, it worked for some people but not all. After its failed attempt they really could not figure out what to do with the sensor which is why we probably haven’t heard any word about it till now. Whether or not Nintendo will incorporate it in the future, well I guess only time will tell.
