A man name Rich Lee didn’t want to keep loosing his headphones, so he decided to get some implanted into his ear. The procedure was done in Arizona by a body modification artist Steve Haworth. “Invisible” earbuds were implanted into his tragus, which is that bump right outside the ear canal. For the implants to work Rich has to wear a coil that signals the device. To adjust the volume the coil has to move closer to his ear get louder or further away to decrease the volume. Can you imagine hundreds if not thousands of people walking around with this?
