Two guys pretended to be pond maintenance workers at a Virginia park stealing 400 koi fish right out the pond. So how much are these fish worth to be stealing 400 of them??
At least four times between June 8th and June 16th, two men nabbed 400 koi fish from Dulles Corner Park in Virginia. The fish burglars told people who asked that they were pond maintenance workers taking the unhealthy koi out of the pond and leaving the healthy ones in. Koi fish can be worth thousands, said the owner of Koi Fish Ponds in Denver, Colorado. He also said that it would cheap for a foot-long koi to cost $130, and these guys stole 400 ranging in size!
This act is being treated as grand larceny, which is a felony in Virginia. The local police department is currently conducting an investigation for the stolen koi.
