First off, what I don’t get is why the investigation took so long, 18 months, that’s a little much. After more than a dozen sales occurred at Noel Barber Shop in the Bronx and after police buying coke directly from owner Noel Peralta, (three pounds of cocaine worth $44,660), that was enough to put and end to the investigation. Sources say that their supplier was another barbershop, Jose Cruz, owner of Brooklyn’s Antonio & Martin Barber Shop. Undercover officers bought 250 grams of coke from Cruz’s shop.
