Well isn’t this interesting. I feel like a lot of other areas do this too though. Lol. Immediately after the Blackhawks broke their hearts in Game 6, Bruins fans put away the ice and turned up the heat to lift their spirits.
Check out this report …
Via Fox Sports:
When the Blackhawks and Bruins took the ice for Game 6 on Monday night, Chicago and Boston came to understandable standstill. With so many citizens glued to their TVs, most other outlets saw a major dip in traffic — even porn sites.
But when the game was over? Well, one site really cleaned up in Beantown. We’ll let PornHub.com explain, as told to CBS Sports:
“[Monday] night marked the end of the NHL Championships, and much like the NBA Finals did, the battle for the Cup managed to take users away from their beloved porn once more. Until, of course the end of the game marking the Bruins’ loss, which saw all of Boston turning to Pornhub to take out some of that pent up aggression. That’s right — the statisticians at Pornhub.com carefully analyzed each hour of the game to track traffic changes in Chicago, Boston, and across the US by the hour; comparing each location relative to the rest of the country.”
The results were staggering, as the chart (Above in gallery). Once the game ended and the Blackhawks started skating around TD Garden with the Stanley Cup, Chicago remained fixated on its team, America went back to its normal routine, and Boston turned to its porn — hard. A 21-percent increase over normal usage; apparently, hockey’s players are fighters, but its fans are lovers.
