Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been catching some heat for naming their daughter North West, as it is rather unusual. But it’s not about the obvious “direction” as some may think! In fact, it’s actually got a pretty sweet meaning behind it!
Sources close to the newly engaged couple report that they chose the name North because they see it as a metaphor for “up”, as they believe the newborn baby girl represents the highest point in their relationship…their “North Star.” “What’s North of North? Nothing,” they reportedly told friends. Now THAT’s cute!
