Mayor Bloomberg’s office says that the “coastal flood risk” created the need for reorganized evacuation zones. They say this is a pre caution incase the city get’s flooded and goes under water. You know, incase we have a Hurricane or any sort of odd happening. These zones include an addition 600,000 residents, some of whose property value for homes will decrease.
