We all know how much horror flicks have been sucking as of late. The days of Jason, Freddy, and Chucky are gone. But maybe there is some hope with this new movie “The Purge”. This weekend “The Purge” took in 36.4 Million at the box office. That is big for a horror flick. Even the studio exec’s did not expect it to do so well. I might have to check this out for myself. “The Purge” took in 36.4 Million this weekend at the box office and the movie only took 3 million to make, what a come up. The studio exec’s expected the movie to do numbers in teens but did not expect this outcome and are very shocked. I guess people are thirsting for the horror movie scene to comeback.
