Gotta love rumors. Yesterday rumors popped up (before game 7, according to NBA on NBC Boston) that Ray Allen may opt out of his contract with the Heat & sign with the Celtics…giving it one last try with the team and to retire a Celtic. While many fans don’t believe it, if it was true what would the Celtics think of it?! Check out both reports & weigh in on what you think Ray Allen should do?!

As always, take stuff like “unnamed sources,” “people close to [insert Player X here],” etc. with a grain of salt. The real question though would be: Does Boston even want him back?

A rumor apparently popped up Monday about a possible reunion of the Big 3 in Boston with Ray Allen using his player option for 2014 to opt out, become a free agent and return to the green for one more run with Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce (and Rajon Rondo, though it’s unlikely that’s an appealing idea for Allen). CBS LA reports that as a rumor? It’s stupid.
