The singer’s mom, Bernadette Hernandez passed away yesterday in Hawaii, she suffered a brain aneurysm while in the hospital. No more information was given, likely due to the fact that many family members were in route to Hawaii. Bruno was extremely close to his mother who, sadly, was only 55 years old. He even dedicated a song to her, “I Love You Mom.” He’s always been very vocal about how supportive she was when he sang in the family music group and especially now that he’s famous.
Mars is actually on a nationwide tour right now but has been on break since mid-May. The shows pick back up on June 22nd when he is scheduled to be in Washington, D.C.
