Andrew Scott Reisse, co-founder of Oculus Rift and computer graphics engineer was struck by a car while walking across a street in Santa Ana, California. The car that hit him was in a police chase. He was pronounced dead at the scene. On the Oculus VR blog, the company posted a in memoriam of his lifetime or work, “On Thursday, we lost a very dear friend and founding member of our close-knit Oculus family, Andrew Reisse.” Andrew’s contributions in the video game industry was huge. His code is embedded in thousands of games played by millions of people around the world.
