Well if this winds up being reality, you can officially kiss a fight between Pac man and Floyd Mayweather good bye. Pacquiao’s manager and long time shady boxing promoter Bob Arum is saying he doesn’t see Pacquiao ever fighting in the U.S. again. But his reason for saying that actually makes alot of $ense, did you see what I did there? LOL…Of course it has to do with money, and alot of it. Read more about it after the jump.

Manny’s upcoming fight against Brandon Rios is going to take place in China. It is expected to generate an enormous amount of money, which could make him never want to fight here in the U.S. again. The fact that Pacquiao has to shoulder much less of a tax burden outside the United States, makes fighting elsewhere extremely attractive to both the boxer and the promoter. Arum was quoted with the following
By fighting outside the country, as he’s doing in this Rios fight, Manny doesn’t have to pay U.S. taxes anymore—at a rate of 40 percent for a foreign athlete. If this pay-per-view and other things take off like we think they may, I can’t imagine Pacquiao will ever again fight in the U.S.
Now that actually does make alot of $ense to be honest. If he can pull in millions regardless, and avoid being taxed 40% then why would he want to fight here again. We all know Floyd dam sure will never fight Pacquiao out of the country so that would pretty much kill that fight forver, not that it was happening anytime soon. The numbers from the Manny-Rios fight will play a major factor in his future decisions.
