Another Gangsta Granny is at it again. However, this one did not get too far. 58-Year-Old Fior Daliza Garcia was trying to bring some work through customs when she arrived at John F. Kennedy Airport from Dominican Republic. Customs inspectors shut down her attempt to smuggle her D-Rugs into the states ASAP after she appeared nervous. Hit the jump to hear the rest of this wild story!
58-year-old Fior Daliza Garcia of Boston was attempting to smuggle heroin and cocaine into the U.S. via her wheelchair. She gets A+ for creativity, but still an epic fail. When she got off of her JetBlue flight No. 838 from the Dominican Republic on Wednesday, she immediately looked suspect to the officers on duty. They transferred Garcia to another wheelchair while they checker her bags (which were all clean.) They then realized that her wheelchair had a fresh paint job, raising even more questions. They then focused on the wheel chair and wallah– the drugs were there!
The grandmother finally came clean, admitting that she would be paid $12,000 to smuggle the drugs from DR to the US.
There has been no word on what kind of time she will be facing or if they gave her bail. People– please use this as a lesson. Nobody wants to be “that grandma that got locked up for smuggling drugs.” Nobody at all…..
