Just a few days ago, Arrested Development made its new premiere on Netflix. But it seems that within 24 hours of the premiere of the once TV show, over 100,000 downloads were done on BitTorrent. Netflix but a watermark on its episodes which was upsetting to torrent users. It make if hard for them to complete pirate the episodes with out people not seeing where it was ripped from. Netflix’s chief content officer Ted Sarandos said, the traffic from internet users who used torrents went down as Netflix users went up. which caused the BitTorrent community and he vice president of marketing at BitTorrent to react, He said, “the assertion that BitTorrent traffic drops as Netflix is introduced to new markets.”
