Much like on the court, San Antonio Spurs star Tim Duncan prefers to remain mum about his personal life. Unfortunately for him news got out that his wife of 12 years, Amy Duncan is filing for divorce claiming their union has become “insupportable because of discord and conflict.” Well it turns out that Amy isn’t the only one that saw trouble in their marriage. The San Antonio Express is reporting that ten-time All-NBA forward Tim Duncan had concerns about his marriage as long as a year ago and hired a private investigator to tail his wife of twelve years.
New details into Duncan’s pending divorce from wife Amy are emerging, including such revelations as Amy moved out of the family home several weeks ago, The Express also reported.
There’s rumors floating around that Amy cheated with her personal trainer but nothing has been confirmed. The two have a prenuptial agreement they signed at the time of their union which was four years after he was selected as the first pick in the 1997 NBA draft. Duncan wants the prenup enforced but has indicted that he and Amy will come to an agreement over financial support for their two young children.
